Family-Owned Aviation Asset Expertise

Family-Owned Aviation Asset Expertise

NEDAVION is a 100% Family-Owned Aviation Asset Expertise Company, built on long-term responsibility rather than short-term transactions. From aircraft procurement and teardown to engine, APU, and parts asset management, our work is driven by direct involvement and accountability for the assets we control. Being family operated means decisions are made with continuity, stability, and ownership in mind, not quarterly targets. Our experience across A320, B737, and MD-80 platforms allows us to support complex asset projects with clarity and consistency. At NEDAVION, family ownership translates into commitment, transparency, and a hands-on approach that supports every project from acquisition through execution.

Deliveries are tracked against committed lead times, documentation readiness, and regulatory compliance, resulting in consistently high on-time shipment rates. Commercial flexibility is provided where appropriate, including multi-currency bank transfers, letters of credit, and structured payment terms for established customers, ensuring transactions align with operational and financial realities rather than forcing standardised payment models.

Privately Financed and Independently Capitalised

NEDAVION operates as a privately financed and fully independent company, with a capital structure built to support asset ownership, inventory growth, and long-term project execution. In the early phase of the company, a municipal start-up facility under the BBZ-2004 framework provided additional financial flexibility, supporting the initial build-up of operations and inventory. This support was applied conservatively and formed part of a broader, privately driven financing strategy.

Since then, NEDAVION has strengthened its capital position through disciplined reinvestment, combining teardown activity and structured asset acquisitions to grow inventory value steadily. This approach has resulted in a robust stock position and balance sheet resilience, allowing the company to operate without dependency on external financiers. Today, NEDAVION’s financial independence supports decisive asset acquisition, controlled risk exposure, and continuity in serving clients and partners across the global aviation aftermarket.

Succes Roadmap

Jan 2019 – company established

The company was established in January 2019 under the name Ditsel Aerospace B.V., with an initial focus on aircraft teardowns, engine sales, and airline surplus material. From its early days, the business operated close to the assets themselves, concentrating on legacy fleets and controlled inventory rather than speculative market listings

Jul 2021 – name change

In July 2021, the company was renamed NEDAVION Aerospace B.V. to better reflect its evolving scope and long-term vision. The name change marked a natural progression rather than a change in direction. Around this time, the company was refinanced, strengthening its balance sheet and supporting further growth while remaining fully family owned

Dec 2021 – Fokker 50 specialist

By December 2021, NEDAVION had established itself as a Fokker 50 specialist, supporting operators and maintenance organisations with teardown-sourced material, engines, and surplus inventory. During this period, the company worked with operators such as Amapola, Buff Air, Kush Air Uganda, VGAS, ATSA, and in cooperation with Fokker Services, reinforcing its reputation in the legacy aircraft segment.

Aug 2022 – Teardown MD83VIP

In August 2022, NEDAVION executed a full MD-83 VIP aircraft teardown at the AMAC Aerospace facility. The project covered the acquisition of a surplus aircraft, controlled teardown, safe engine disposition, and efficient logistics. This milestone demonstrated NEDAVION’s ability to manage complex teardown projects end-to-end while delivering OEM-quality MD-80 spare parts that met airworthiness expectations.

Sep 2022 – moving our office

In September 2022, NEDAVION consolidated its office and warehouse operations in Amsterdam, combining storage and operational functions into a single facility designed for efficiency. The move included multiple warehouses and logistics improvements, allowing the company to manage inventory more transparently and accessibly.

Oct 2022 – logo & website

Shortly after, in October 2022, NEDAVION introduced its current brand identity. The choice of the petrol colour reflected an honest connection to legacy aircraft rather than trends. At the same time, AVIONSTORE was launched as a dedicated platform to provide visibility into NEDAVION’s physical inventory, reinforcing the company’s commitment to transparency and real availability.

2023 – Opening of new location in Sofia

In 2023, NEDAVION expanded internationally with the opening of NEDAVION Bulgaria LTD in Sofia. This second location strengthened regional presence and supported teardown, storage, and asset management activities closer to operational aircraft and customers.

2024 – 4 MD82 Aircraft scheduled to be teardown in first 6 month

During 2024, NEDAVION completed the teardown of four MD-82 aircraft previously operated by European Air Charter. These projects further cemented the company’s position as a leading specialist in MD-80 platform asset management and teardown execution.

2025 – one A320 and one MD-82 aircraft accuired

In 2025, NEDAVION continued its teardown activities with the planned execution of one A320 and one MD-82 teardown in cooperation with Ten Airways, reflecting the company’s growing involvement across A320, B737, and MD-80 fleets

2026

Today, NEDAVION remains a fully family-owned company, focused on aircraft procurement, teardown, engine and APU assets, and controlled parts distribution. Every step of the business — from acquisition to teardown to distribution — is approached with the same principle: real assets, real availability, and technical accountability.

The story of NEDAVION is not one of rapid expansion or marketing claims, but of steady growth, experience built on physical assets, and long-term responsibility within the global aviation aftermarket.
